Are you a transformational leader with a track record of delivering large-scale organisational change, financial sustainability and digital innovation across complex public sector environments? This Director of Change opportunity offers the chance to shape and deliver a major corporate transformation agenda, working directly with the Assistant Chief Executive to drive lasting improvements across services, culture and performance.

As Director of Change, you will lead a wide-ranging transformation programme focused on service redesign, digital innovation, organisational development and financial sustainability. Reporting into a senior corporate leadership team, you will influence strategic decision-making, lead high-profile change programmes and ensure measurable benefits are delivered for residents and stakeholders alike. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Director of Change to make a significant impact within a politically complex and highly visible environment.

Your Role as Director of Change:

• Lead the corporate Transformation Strategy and deliver large-scale organisational change
• Drive digital transformation, innovation and customer-focused service redesign
• Establish robust programme governance, PMO structures and benefits realisation frameworks
• Deliver sustainable MTFS savings through service improvement and demand management
• Lead cultural change, workforce modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Your Previous Experience as Director of Change:

• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes within local government or a complex public sector organisation
• Strong track record delivering financial savings, service improvements and organisational change
• Experience operating within a political environment and advising senior stakeholders and elected members
• Extensive knowledge of programme management, governance and transformation methodologies
• Demonstrable success leading digital, data and technology-enabled change initiatives
