Studio Manager
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Studio Manager to join the founding team of a brand-new, sustainability-led fitness concept launching in London.
This isn’t your typical studio. Alongside an exceptional training experience, the team is on a mission to prove that performance and planet-conscious values can go hand-in-hand. This new venture is set to make waves—and they are looking for a standout Studio Manager to lead the charge.
This is a rare chance to help shape a business from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the Founder to prepare the space for launch, build the team, and drive the studio’s success from day one.
The Role...
● Salary: £50,000
● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
● Leave: 25 Days per annum.
● Access to the studio's facilities
Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Launch & Studio Set-Up
- Collaborate with the Founder on all aspects of launch planning: from operations to aesthetics, logistics to local marketing
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training of the wider studio team
- Help establish operational systems and studio procedures that reflect both performance standards and sustainable values
- Be the go-to point of contact for suppliers, contractors and launch partners
2. Studio Operations & Member Experience
- Lead all daily operations of the studio—from scheduling and staffing, to cleanliness and customer service
- Ensure a warm, welcoming, and well-run space that makes every visitor feel at home
- Keep the studio running like clockwork: anticipating challenges, solving problems quickly, and constantly raising the bar
- Own the end-to-end member journey and maintain high standards across every touchpoint
3. Team Leadership
- Manage and motivate a team including front-of-house and trainer staff
- Support recruitment, inductions, ongoing training and team development
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on care, creativity and collaboration
4. Sales, Marketing & Growth
- Own monthly KPIs related to revenue, retention and member growth
- Drive membership sales through local marketing, partnerships, lead conversion and a strong community presence
- Work with senior leadership to roll out marketing campaigns and social media activations
- Identify local opportunities for outreach, collaborations, events, and brand-building initiatives
5. Reporting, Finance & Performance
- Track key metrics and business performance to inform data-led decision making
- Manage studio budgets, rota efficiency, and cost controls in line with business goals
- Provide regular reporting to the Founder and senior team with insights and recommendations
The Person:
- Previous experience in a fitness, boutique wellness, or hospitality setting in a team leadership or operational role
- A strong people-first manager who knows how to inspire and get the best out of a team
- Commercially aware and goal-oriented, with a clear understanding of what drives studio performance
- Confident with studio tech and systems (CRM, booking platforms, scheduling, etc.)
- Highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about sustainability and wellness, with a genuine care for community
- A self-starter excited by the challenge of building something new and meaningful
