Quant Capital is urgently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join or well known Fintech50 client who produces software disrupting the wealth management market.

The Windows Devops role has come around due to a more towards DevOps as well as an increase in clients. I am looking for an experienced Windows Engineer who has extensive automation experience looking to sit in a senior position with some technical leadership responsibilities. The automation engineer will work on our continuous delivery pipeline automating the infrastructure components, such as the OS build process, Active Directory, the deployment pipeline and the platforms running our production environment.

Day to Day the Windows DevOps Engineer will:

• Design, delivery, automation, operations and management of platform servers, physical and virtual.
• Working on next generation infrastructure.
• Deployment and testing of Windows 2016
• Design, delivery, automation, operations and management of platform storage systems and capacity planning.
• Design, implementation and operation of end-to-end platform monitoring systems.
• Development of operating system build processes.

Windows DevOps Engineers / Automation Engineers should have:

• 3 – 5 years experience with Windows Systems Administration
• Extensive experience of Jenkins and continuous deployment
• Experience in and ideally certified in AWS
• Scripting (Powershell, Python, Ruby)
• Systems Automation and configuration experience (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Good Linux knowledge
• Experience with Groovy/Java
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Microsoft platforms including Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2, IIS 7/8.
• Enterprise server estates including Blade systems and high-density servers.
• Ideally Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS).
• Some knowledge/experience of Linux.
