SEN Teaching Assistants - Putney, South West London

TeacherActive is urgently seeking hard-working, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistants for a large primary school in Putney, South West London , known for its extensive SEN provision . We are looking for dedicated individuals who can provide supportive, proactive assistance to pupils with diverse needs, with experience in ASD and ADHD highly desirable . The role involves working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support, promote positive behaviour, and help pupils engage confidently in learning. Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including ASD and ADHD
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Implement behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans
Help pupils build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as an SEN TA (primary preferred)
Strong understanding of ASD and ADHD
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
