A warm, welcoming and highly regarded family is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Daily Nanny to support the care and development of their three school-aged children. Having relocated to London from their Bedfordshire estate last year, the family now divide their time between their London residence and beautiful country home, offering the successful candidate a varied and rewarding role across both locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children and is confident managing all child-related responsibilities, whilst working alongside hands-on parents and established household staff.

The Children: The family has three delightful children:

• • Boy – senior school
• • Boy – prep school
• • Girl – primary school (5 years)

Whilst all three children are thriving, the primary focus of the role will be supporting the younger two children, particularly the family's youngest child.

The Role: The family are seeking a nanny who can take ownership of all child-related organisation, ensuring the children's day-to-day lives run smoothly and efficiently.

Hours: The family value work-life balance and offer a highly attractive schedule.

• Term Time: Monday to Thursday: 1.00pm – 8.00pm and Friday: 1.00pm – 5.00pm
• School Holidays: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am/9.00am – 6.00pm/7.00pm; Friday: 8.00am/9.00am – 1.00pm

Requirements:

• Previous experience with school-aged children.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Confident preparing simple, healthy family meals for children.
• Driver required.
• Positive, energetic and engaging personality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Happy working between London & Bedfordshire.
• Excellent references and proven longevity in previous positions.

Responsibilities will include:

• School collections and accompanying the children to activities.
• Supporting homework, reading and educational development.
• Encouraging independence, good routines and organisation.
• Planning engaging after-school and holiday activities.
• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children.
• Children's laundry and ironing.
• Wardrobe management, including monitoring clothing requirements and ensuring school uniforms and sports kit are always prepared.
• Organising school equipment, activity schedules and children's belongings.
• Managing children's bedrooms and play areas.
• Liaising closely with parents regarding school communications, activities and schedules.
• Supporting the children's social, emotional and educational development.
• The family would particularly appreciate a nanny who enjoys encouraging active pursuits and outdoor activities.

Household Environment:

• This is a fully staffed household.
• The family employs a full-time housekeeper in London, together with additional household staff at their Bedfordshire home. The role is therefore focused entirely on childcare and child-related duties rather than housekeeping responsibilities.
• The family also has a friendly spaniel who resides primarily at the Bedfordshire property.
• The family regularly spend time at their Bedfordshire estate, particularly during school holidays.
• The property is easily accessible from London, with Milton Keynes being the nearest station, and all travel expenses will be covered by the family.
• Flexibility is offered, and the family are keen to accommodate the right candidate's preferences wherever possible.
