Position: Teaching Assistant (SEND) Location: Southwark, London School Rating: Outstanding Age Range: 11-18

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support students with SEND in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans and accommodations for students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to meet students' needs effectively.

Requirements:

• A degree qualification (minimum 2:1) in any subject.
• Passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEND.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
