Office Manager, early-stage Venture Capital firm
We are delighted to be partnering with one of Europe’s most dynamic early-stage Venture Capital firms in their search for a talented and driven Office Manager who will play a central role in their London office. This is a unique opportunity for an Office Manager who is passionate about both people and operations, creating environments that are welcoming and inspiring and run like absolute clockwork. As Office Manager, you’ll be joining a small, international, and highly collaborative team that invests in the next generation of innovators across fintech, consumer, climate, health, and more.
The London office is a vibrant hub of energy and focus, working closely with the two European offices. The team is ambitious, warm, and genuinely values the contribution of each individual - and as Office Manager, you’ll sit at the very centre of it all.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted role where no two days are the same. As Office Manager, you’ll have full ownership of the space - not only the day-to-day logistics but also the culture and atmosphere. The Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the office remains an enlightening and motivating environment for the team, clients, and every guest who walks through the door.
As Office Manager, you’ll deliver a professional yet personal experience that reflects the firm’s values in every detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and has a natural flair for hospitality and service, taking pride in everything that they do.
Key Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the London office, ensuring everything runs seamlessly
- Ensure the office remains a welcoming, inspiring and high-functioning office environment
- Vendor management and meeting room coordination
- Greet and host guests with warmth and professionalism – from entrepreneurs and investors to other industry professionals
- Coordinate with the two European offices to ensure alignment and connection with company values and processes
- Support with the organisation and delivery of client events and in-office gatherings
- Take ownership of the office space – bring new ideas, always seeking to make improvements both physically and culturally
- Be a trusted source of calm, order, and positive energy in a fast-paced setting
Key Office Manager Requirements:
To thrive in this role, the Office Manager will bring experience from both high-end hospitality and fast-paced office environments. You’re confident, proactive, and always thinking a few steps ahead - a natural problem-solver with sound judgment and a warm, approachable manner. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, you take pride in the details, and you have a genuine passion for people, service, and creating exceptional spaces.
This isn’t just a job - it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful. As Office Manager, you’ll play a central role in the company’s next chapter, supporting brilliant people as they shape the future.
