Working Hours: Full-time or part-time considered
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adult Neuro Rehab Speech and Language Therapist to join a community-based team in South West London. The role is available immediately, with an initial 3-month contract. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply for this opportunity to work in a rewarding setting, helping adults with neurological conditions improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work with adults in the community who have neurological conditions, providing rehabilitation and therapy focused on improving their speech, language, and communication abilities. You will carry out detailed assessments, develop tailored therapy plans, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you will provide support for patients with swallowing difficulties, offer advice on strategies for communication, and monitor progress. You will work closely with patients and their families to ensure they receive the best care possible, promoting independence and quality of life.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience in adult neuro rehabilitation
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and communication therapy for individuals with neurological conditions
- Ability to manage a caseload and develop tailored therapy plans
- Experience working in a community-based setting is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
