Trade Mark Counsel – 3–4 PQE
Location: UK (Hybrid working)

We are seeking a talented Trade Mark Counsel to join our UK Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a truly global business, supporting a leading portfolio of consumer brands across a wide range of trade mark and intellectual property matters.

About the Role
Reporting to the Category Legal Lead, you will provide legal advice and support across all aspects of trade mark and IP law. You will help shape brand protection strategies, advise on clearance for new product launches, and work closely with marketing, R&D, and commercial colleagues across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on the clearance, protection and enforcement of trade marks across global markets
• Supporting brand launches and advising on risks of third-party infringement
• Managing trade mark prosecution and enforcement matters, working with external counsel where appropriate
• Advising on copyright, designs and domain name issues
• Drafting and negotiating trade mark agreements, licences and related contracts
• Providing training and guidance to business stakeholders on IP risks and policies
• Assisting with broader IP support for corporate projects, including M&A and licensing

About You

• Qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with around 3–4 years’ PQE in intellectual property law
• Solid grounding in trade mark and copyright law, ideally gained from a leading law firm or in-house environment
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced and international environment
• Collaborative, commercial and solutions-focused approach
