Ecommerce Operations Assistant - 4 Month Contract
What’s the role?
We’re on the hunt for an Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our Operations team on a contract basis for 4 Months.
We can engage you either:
- As a temporary employee, on a fixed-term contract; or
- As a contractor working through an umbrella company or similar setup
We are not working with recruitment agencies on this role and will not be accepting CVs or approaches from third parties.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of Amazon and Ecommerce orders and supporting the Operations team in administrative tasks making sure information is managed efficiently and correctly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating Amazon FBA Shipments following a Shipment plan on Amazon Seller Central in UK, US, Germany and Canadian Marketplaces
- Uploading Orders to UK, US, German and Canadian warehouse systems for processing
- Booking orders for collection via Amazon Freight in the US
- Creating Stock Orders to be sent to our UK E-commerce Warehouse
You’ll also work closely with teams across E-commerce, Finance, and our 3PL warehouses, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

What will you be doing?
Order Fulfilment (Amazon and Ecommerce)
- Creating Amazon FBA Shipments on Amazon Seller Central for the UK, US, DE and Canada Marketplaces. Releasing orders to the warehouse on SAP Business One, Liaising with warehouse operatives and the Ecommerce Team to make sure orders are dispatched as seamlessly as possible as planned.
- Assist in arranging the collection and delivery of shipments via Amazon Freight in the US
- Monitor UK Ecommerce inventory. Send stock to Ecommerce Fulfilment partners when low and in advance of planned promotions. Book in shipments, make sure SKU’s are live once sent.
- Assist with monitoring SKU performance and Capacity optimization across all four Amazon Marketplaces
Operations Administrative Support
- Assisting with processing and reviewing Sales Data to inform Decision making
- Perform any other Operations administrative duties as directed by the Ecommerce Operations Team, the Retail Operations Manager and the Head of Operations
- Assisting Managing the Returns process into Warehouse and liaising with the Finance Team to ensure stock is put back on the system correctly.

Requirements
What is Essential
- Someone who is highly proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets).
- A confident strong communicator who can easily interact with people in meetings and over email, both internally and externally
- A flexible approach and the ability to work using your own initiative
- A high level of organisation with great attention to detail
What is Desirable
- Highly desirable: Experience of working with Amazon Seller Central creating FBA Shipments
- Highly desirable: experience of working in a Retail or Stockroom environment
- Experience of working with Warehouses and Stock Management
- Experience of Working with Inventory Management Systems (e.g. SAP Business One, Quickbooks etc).
- Data Handling experience
- Someone who loves board games!
