Senior Lecturer Doctorate Social Work and Social Care | Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust
Opportunity for Social Work or Social Care Academics to Teach on D55 – temporary position(s) until end April 2026 (up to 4 sessions a week including a Thursday)
• Up to 4 teaching sessions per week
• Face-to-face teaching at the Tavistock on alternate Thursdays
• Opportunity to shape the learning and development of doctoral students at various stages of their academic journey What We're Looking For:
• Experience in practitioner research within social work or social care
• Expertise in teaching and learning at the doctoral level
• Strong knowledge and skills in social work and social care practice
• Ideally research active or with extensive academic experience The role will involve facilitating group seminars, mentoring doctoral students, and contributing to the academic growth of candidates across the course. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of future leaders in the field.
