The Role

Gravita is undergoing a period of significant transformation as we evolve our processes and the way we engage with our clients. We are looking for someone to join our team to manage and deliver the operational work required from our Client Operations team across multiple ongoing transformation projects.

This role will sit within the team and use the same systems and processes, ensuring strong integration with day-to-day operations. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the client operations workstreams—particularly focusing on onboarding, maintenance, and disengagement—while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, and above all, delivering a high-quality client experience.

You’ll work closely with the Compliance team to:

  • Manage and maintain accurate client records across systems
  • Ensure appropriate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) measures are applied
  • Embed regulatory requirements into client lifecycle processes
  • Support wider compliance initiatives as needed

This is a hands-on, collaborative role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, change-focused environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on how we serve and support our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Re-engaging Clients – Onboarding & Compliance Management

  • Client Engagement : Manage clients effectively and professionally when onboarding or engaging with them, improving the client experience.
  • Letters of Engagement (LoE) : Prepare, issue, and file Letters of Engagement (LoEs) for new clients, ensuring that all documentation complies with internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Client Take-On: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including conducting AML checks using software such as SmartSearch and ensuring compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
  • Compliance Liaison: Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that any new services or clients are onboarded in line with AML regulations and internal policies.
  • System Maintenance : Accurately set up clients in core systems, ensuring that all client data is compliant and properly documented.
  • Team Engagement : Work with the client facing teams to manage progress and ensure the client experience is maintained.

Project Management

  • Tracking progress : Manage the tracking of migrating client engagements to the right entities, reporting on progress to the project sponsor.
  • Risks : Highlighting potential risks across clients, progress & process that may hinder overall goals or client experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a compliance support role, particularly involving client onboarding, AML checks, and data management in systems like CCH and DMS, is highly desirable.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as SharePoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with the client operations team, compliance team and support other service lines where necessary.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach.
  • Excellent ability to problem solve and use own initiative; and
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
