Senior Conflicts Advisor - International Law Firm (London, Hybrid)

Location: London (50% hybrid working)

Type: Permanent

An international law and professional services firm is seeking a Senior Conflicts Advisor to join its Office of General Counsel team in London. This is a strategic role within the global conflicts function, supporting the firm's international offices with conflict analysis, escalation, and reporting.

The position offers exposure to high-value cross-border matters and requires a strong understanding of professional conflict rules, legal and commercial risk, and the nature of complex transactions. While full training is provided, the successful candidate will be expected to stay current with market developments and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of escalation in the conflict checking processReview and analyse conflict reports, identifying potential legal or commercial conflictsAdvise partners and fee earners on conflict resolution strategiesDraft recommendation reports for the Conflicts CommitteePrepare and deliver training to legal teams and junior staffMaintain conflicts documentation, policies, and templatesSupport global conflicts projects and contribute to internal communications

Candidate Profile:

Experience in an international law or professional services firmStrong working knowledge of professional conflict rulesFamiliarity with Intapp or similar conflicts tools (preferred)Excellent analytical, communication, and mentoring skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and work under pressureCommercially minded and client-focusedThis is a unique opportunity to join a globally recognised firm with a collaborative culture and a commitment to professional development.
