The Role

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to join our Operational Support Team, currently managing and maintaining wired & wireless private mobile networks. This role is responsible for providing technical support, managing ITSM Incident resolutions, hardware configurations, and technical administration databases to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure with a focus on SLA achievement and network availability targets.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile and align active databases related to network configuration
• Maintain the structure of network data sources with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Manage access controls and permissions for network systems.
• Assist in tracking and management of network faults and issues.
• Collaborate with IT and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on network status and issues.
• Support the streamlining of shared intranet space

Essential Role Requirements & Skillset

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a first line technical support role with experience in Database Maintenance, Cleansing and Migration
• Proficiency in using IT systems tools & software for database management and reporting e.g. MS dynamics 365, PowerBi, Trello, Autotask, Excel proficiency combined with a good understanding of basic network concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to be proactive and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Qualifications and Training:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• A full UK Driving licence would be beneficial
