Control & Protection Electrical Hardware Design Engineer
- Documentation: Create Bill of Materials, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and termination schedules.
- Coordination & Inspection: Coordinate with cubicle manufacturers and perform inspections.
- Design Preparation: Prepare design specifications, overview diagrams, and concept clarifications.
- Design Review: Participate in or lead design review meetings to identify and correct errors.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Discuss with other departments to prepare the division of works.
- Validation: Validate design drawings/documents from sub-suppliers to meet specifications.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide support during tests and commissioning, and collaborate with customers and colleagues. Educational Background: You possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field.
- Professional Experience: You have prior experience with HVDC projects and at least three years of work experience in the UK.
- Technical Expertise: You have strong knowledge in control and protection panel design (CRP).
- Additional Skills: Site experience in control and protection testing and commissioning is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD tools for control systems, such as Engineering Base or Ruplan, is highly valued.

We utilize our in-house developed real-time platform, MACH, to meet the power industry's standards.
