Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an established Early Years setting in Islington .

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking to become part of a welcoming nursery environment where children's learning, development and wellbeing are a priority. The position offers 40 hours per week across 48 working weeks per year , providing a structured working pattern for someone passionate about delivering high-quality Early Years education.

You will be:

• Providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play

• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive

• Supporting children's individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing

• Acting as a key person and developing positive relationships with children and their families

• Completing observations, assessments and learning records to monitor children's progress

• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development

• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality Early Years provision

• Contributing positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development, alongside excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A clear Enhanced Child DBS will be required for this position.
