HGV Class 2 Driver
About the Role
KPI Recruiting are currently seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for our client based in North West London (NW10) .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who values consistency, reliability, and the chance to be part of a well-organised logistics team.
As a Class 2 Driver , you’ll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various customer locations across the UK. This role involves operating Class 2 vehicles, managing delivery schedules, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries.
Load and unload goods carefully to ensure product quality and safety.
Perform routine vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.
Maintain compliance with UK road safety laws , tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
Represent the company in a professional manner with a customer-first attitude .
Carry out manual trailer setup and assist with basic vehicle maintenance as required.
Communicate effectively with the transport and logistics team to resolve any delivery issues.
Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum of 6 months’ driving experience in a similar role preferred (newly qualified drivers may be considered).
Strong understanding of London’s road network and safe route planning.
Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Hours
Full-time, approximately 50+ hours per week .
Shifts available: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.
Early starts may be required depending on routes.
Overtime opportunities available.
