HGV Class 2 Driver

About the Role

KPI Recruiting are currently seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for our client based in North West London (NW10) .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who values consistency, reliability, and the chance to be part of a well-organised logistics team.

As a Class 2 Driver , you’ll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various customer locations across the UK. This role involves operating Class 2 vehicles, managing delivery schedules, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries.

• Load and unload goods carefully to ensure product quality and safety.

• Perform routine vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.

• Maintain compliance with UK road safety laws , tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.

• Represent the company in a professional manner with a customer-first attitude .

• Carry out manual trailer setup and assist with basic vehicle maintenance as required.

• Communicate effectively with the transport and logistics team to resolve any delivery issues.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.

• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Minimum of 6 months’ driving experience in a similar role preferred (newly qualified drivers may be considered).

• Strong understanding of London’s road network and safe route planning.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Full-time, approximately 50+ hours per week .

• Shifts available: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

• Early starts may be required depending on routes.

• Overtime opportunities available.
