Director - Senior Relationship Manager - MENA

The role of Senior Relationship Manager (RM) will source, develop and pro-actively manage a reputable and long term profitable portfolio of high net worth clients and family offices (when applicable). You will provide the relationship management and business development activities with Saudi Arabia clients predominately using the full range of company products and services.

In this role you will:
- Grow revenue, increase Assets Under Management (AUM) of portfolio and increase inflows of Net New Money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network.
- Work collaboratively with Investment Counsellors, Wealth Planners, and other relevant teams such as the Product Specialists network to develop client relationships.
- Maintain an understanding of economic, business, tax, property, legal and other relevant matters to a standard that is commensurate with the nature of the existing and target client base.
- Leading by example through high financial results, and offering coaching to other RMs to create opportunities to aid their professional development.
- Works closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments Level 4 or Investment Advice Diploma qualification is a minimum requirement of the role with the requirements to achieve Level 6 within 12 months of joining
- Demonstrable track record of client portfolio management and new client acquisition with clients in the Middle East & North Africa segment is essential. Experience of working with Saudi Arabia clients specifically would be more advantageous.
- Track record of building successful relationships with both an internal and external referral network.
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, complex wealth management solutions including lending solutions, and the regulatory environment in the UK.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Arabic would be desirable
