Graduate Business Development Representative (HF
Job description
Graduate Business Development Representative
What if the right graduate role didn’t just offer a job—but a genuine fast‑track into a high‑earning, high‑responsibility commercial career? What if you could be sitting in a top London office in Bank, learning from industry‑leading sales executives, and earning more in your first year than most graduates earn in three?
This is that opportunity.
A globally recognised publishing group—known for its commercial strength, international footprint, and investment in early‑career talent—is hiring ambitious graduates who are hungry to succeed. If you’re driven, competitive, and motivated by rapid career progression and uncapped earnings, this role stands out above anything else on the market right now.
Why This Opportunity Is Unmissable
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
- £120,000+ realistic OTE in Year 1 , based on current team performance
- 10% commission on every deal —your earning power is entirely in your hands
- Unmatched incentives , including:
- Fully paid trips to the Bahamas
- Cash prize competitions twice a year (£20,000 for the winner, £15,000 for runner‑up)
- A structured progression route designed for high performers:
- Months 1–3: Learn from top sales executives, master prospecting, and book key meetings
- As early as Month 3: Progress into a full closing role , taking ownership of deals
- Within 18 months: Move into an Account Executive role with greater responsibility and higher earnings
If you’re driven by challenge, success, and financial reward, it’s hard to find a better launchpad.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Graduate Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the front line of business growth:
- Identifying high‑value prospects
- Booking qualified meetings for senior sales leaders
- Observing live sales calls and meetings to accelerate your learning
- Building confidence in commercial negotiation
- Progressing into closing your own deals as you develop
You’ll be working in a company that empowers graduates, invests in training, and gives you real responsibility early on.
The Type of Graduate Who Thrives Here
Do you bring energy, resilience, confidence, and a genuine desire to succeed? That’s exactly what they’re looking for. No sales experience is required—just strong transferable skills and the right attitude.
This role suits graduates who:
- Communicate clearly and confidently
- Enjoy speaking with new people
- Are motivated by performance, progression, and earning potential
- Want a career that rewards ambition—not seniority
Interview Timeline
- First stage: Next Thursday (in person) – focused solely on your potential and transferable skills
- Final stage: Following week
They hire fast and focus on personality, drive, and ambition over experience. If you’re motivated and want a career where your hard work directly equals your earnings, this is your moment.
We believe that diversity makes us stronger and more innovative. We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Hit apply our reach out to one of our talent team to progress your application and journey with us.
