Role

We are currently looking for a Director of Housekeeping to join our Senior Management Team at Rosewood London. This pivotal role is responsible for leading and elevating all aspects of the Housekeeping operation, including Guest Bedrooms, Valet & Laundry, Public Areas, and Floristry, ensuring the highest standards of service and luxury for our guests.

Key expectations of this role

• Taking a leadership role in engaging with guests, associates and business partners to meet and exceed their needs.
• Acting as a coach and mentor to a team of over 100 associates to ensure high engagement levels, people development and highest associate retention to strengthen the company culture.
• Managing cost and revenue in all areas of the Housekeeping department without impact on brand, or quality standards.
• Continuously identifying and developing areas for improvement and motivating the team to actively take part in the process to enhance the brand experience.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging innovation and collaboration to enhance the Rosewood experience.
• Proactively attracting and selecting talent for the department in line with company procedures and culture.

Profile

• Experience at a managerial level within a large luxury hotel environment.
• A thorough understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
• Experienced in managing complex budgets and operational planning with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Proven strategic project management and delegation skills.
