The Business Specialist role delivers a professional face to face service to both existing and prospective customers to maximise contribution towards the Small Businesses Banking segment, improving customer engagement by understanding the customer’s needs, and offering solutions to help them realise their dreams and ambitions.
We are seeking a passionate and customer focused person to add value to our team in the role of Business Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Be proactive in the delivery of solutions that are appropriate to meet new and existing customer needs, deliver fair customer outcomes, and improve customer engagement.
- Attract new customers by establishing a strong network with key local business introducers and being active in the local business community.
- Be a champion for digital channels, such as the use of online and mobile banking
- Protect the bank's assets and reputation by performing rigorous due diligence on the customers and their businesses.
- Be an ambassador for HSBC for the local communities we serve.
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- The experience and ability to interact and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the community
- An understanding of different Business types and structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Good time management in order to drive networking with potential customers, along with undertaking face to face and digital appointments to support customers’ needs.
- • Experience in identifying risks and the ability to make rational decisions based on relevant information
Please note: This role is based in London, as such the successful applicant will be required to live within a commutable distance of their base branch and surrounding branches. This role is subject to a hybrid model based off the banks & the customers’ needs
