OverviewAre you an experienced Senior Technician with experience in Binding Authorities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing team at Gallagher Re!
As part of our Binders Technical Operations Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the processing and resolution of queries related to the end-to-end premium bordereau processing. Working closely with team members based in the UK front office and offshore in India, you will have the opportunity to deliver a comprehensive experience for our clients.

How you'll make an impact- Process complex technical transactions, which are mostly related to monthly bordereau for Binding Authorities.
- Support the resolution of pre-processing queries raised by our offshore team within 48 hours of receipt.
- Manage the relationship with our Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support the reconciliation and collection of premium.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks that may arise from time to time as specified by their line manager.
- Extensive experience in bordereau processing.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the Industry and its regulators
- Complete understanding of the full end to end process model across all disciplines, including all associated Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Turnaround Times (TAT’s).
- Experience of working with the Bureau (Xchanging now known as DXC) in the workings of accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols and activity as they relate to the function of premium process and signings is essential.
- Solid understanding of Facultative business and Proportional Treaties as well as Line Slips and Binding Authorities
- A sound understanding of Market Reform Contract (MRC)
