Live-in Nanny in Croydon, Job ID J1C5CD

A lovely family based in Croydon, London, is seeking a live-in nanny to provide dedicated care for their baby, due in March 2026. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with babies and be confident in carrying out all aspects of childcare. The role will involve all general nursery duties. A Hindi speaker would be considered a bonus. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7 am to 7 pm | Some proxy-parenting and occasional weekend cover needed with notice.

Accommodation: Double bedroom with bathroom

Duties include:

• Preparing and feeding milk
• Organising the child’s daily schedule and routines
• Changing nappies and ensuring proper hygiene
• Cleaning and sterilising bottles
• Establishing and following a nap routine
• Washing and dressing the child
• Engaging the child in play and age-appropriate activities
• Monitoring the child’s development and keeping parents updated
• Ensuring the child’s safety, happiness, and well-being at all times
• Escorting the child to doctor’s appointments
• Assisting with the bedtime routine to create a calm and consistent environment
• Organising and managing the child’s clothes
• Handling laundry and ironing of the child’s clothing
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the child’s room
• Carrying out occasional grocery shopping for the child’s supplies
