Performance Marketing Executive (Hiring Immediately)

Freddies Flowers
London

Freddie’s Flowers was founded by Freddie Garland in October 2014 with one ambition: to change people’s relationship with flowers. We believe flowers aren’t only for grand occasions, but they make every day special, inspiring creativity and sparking joy.

Our starting point was our direct-to-consumer subscription model, helping us grow a loyal UK following. We launched in Germany in 2020, and then in 2021 we secured significant backing from The Craftory, a like-minded purpose-led global investment house, helping us expand, develop and grow. 2023 saw us start our gifting service – bringing the best of Freddie’s Flowers to everyone who needs it (even last minute!).

From the seed of an idea we continue to flourish; we’re now a B Corp organisation. And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.

About the Role

We’re looking for a data-driven, commercially minded Performance Marketing Executive with a focus on paid social and affiliate marketing to join the marketing team at Freddie’s Flowers.

Paid social, primarily Meta, will be at the heart of this role. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of our Meta account, using data-driven insights to improve performance. Working closely with our Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll play an important role in scaling campaigns, acquiring new customers for gifting and growing subscriptions.

Alongside paid social, you’ll help manage the performance and delivery of our affiliate marketing activity. You’ll also have the chance to work on new paid channels such as (but not limited to) tiktok, display, pinterest as we explore new growth opportunities.

You’ll work closely with our in-house creative team to coordinate paid social assets, ensuring content is briefed, produced and delivered on time. You’ll also gain experience in creative testing and optimisation, using performance insights to help inform future campaigns.

This is a great opportunity for someone with paid social experience who enjoys getting into the detail of campaign performance, is confident working with data and is keen to develop their expertise across a growing range of performance marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Paid social and Meta campaign management

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of our Meta advertising account, including campaign set-up, budgets, launches and ongoing performance optimisation to grow acquisition for both subscription and gifting.
  • Help scale our Meta campaigns by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and implementing agreed optimisation recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager to identify opportunities to scale campaigns and creative, monitor performance and fatigue, and implement optimisation recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Meta Ads Manager, including automation and campaign delivery, to help evolve our approach as the platform changes.

Affiliate marketing and channel development

  • Coordinate affiliate campaign delivery, working with our agency to ensure assets, offers and campaign requirements are briefed, approved and delivered on time.
  • Support the development of additional acquisition channels, including display and TikTok, helping to coordinate testing, campaign launches and performance reporting.

Performance analysis and reporting

  • Analyse paid social and affiliate performance against key metrics, including spend, CPA, conversion rates, purchases and subscription performance, to identify trends and opportunities to improve results.

Requirements

Must have skills :

  • Meta Ads Manager: At least 2 years’ experience working with Meta, with hands-on experience creating, managing and optimising campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, either in-house or agency-side.
  • Analytical skills and automation: A strong analytical mindset, with confidence working with complex datasets, advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau or GA4.
  • AI skills: An interest in exploring how AI can automate analysis and workflows, with some experience incorporating AI tools into day-to-day tasks.
  • Resilience and proactivity: Comfortable working in a target-driven role with weekly KPIs. You’ll be proactive in monitoring performance, identifying variances against forecasts and taking action to keep campaigns on track, with support from your manager.
