VAT Senior Manager needed - Quick path to Director!

Capital Tax Recruitment is currently working with a Big 4 firm to help them recruit a Senior VAT Manager due to significant growth in this teams particular area following the coronavirus pandemic. As such, there is an anticipated path up to Director that can be achieved in the short term (within 12 months). The successful candidate for this role must be a seasoned VAT professional and able to demonstrate an in-depth technical knowledge as well as being able to apply that knowledge to develop solutions to complex issues on behalf of the firms clients covering:

• Providing innovative VAT solutions and advice aligned to clients commercial needs.
• Managing and helping to develop junior members of the team.
• Ability to apply good judgement, consult appropriately and manage indirect tax risks.
• Keeping up to date with indirect tax legislation and practical changes.
• Supporting the creation of and working with cutting edge technology to solve clients problems.
