A lovely family based in North London are seeking an experienced full time nanny / housekeeper to care for their 10-year-old child while helping with the general upkeep of the family home. This is a varied role suited to a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be confident caring for a school-aged child, managing daily routines and providing a fun, supportive environment. They should also be organised, practical and happy to take responsibility for general housekeeping duties. A driver is preferred, particularly for school runs, activities and errands. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and reliable care for the child
supporting the child’s daily and after-school routine
school drop-offs and collections when required
preparing healthy snacks and simple meals
assisting with homework, reading and school-related tasks
planning fun and age-appropriate activities
taking the child to clubs, activities and appointments when required
supporting evening routines
organising school bags, uniforms and belongings
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping the child’s bedroom and living areas tidy and organised
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
running occasional household errands
driving the child to school, activities or appointments when required
helping to keep the home clean, organised and running smoothly at all times

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS check
UK work permit
Valid Driver’s License
