This is an exciting opportunity to use your content creation skills to help GamCare make a real difference to the lives of people affected by gambling related harms and create digital content with a genuine social purpose.
Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, deliver free treatment services across multiple regions of Great Britain and raise awareness of gambling harms through prevention programmes.
We're looking for a talented and thoughtful Content Creator to create content that encourages engagement and helps people who are experiencing problems with gambling to take an important first step towards getting support and accessing information and resources through GamCare's Online Services.
You'll create and develop clear, engaging and accessible digital content that supports people affected by gambling harms at different stages of their journey. From self-help resources and online communities to digital campaigns and new service developments, you'll have the opportunity to turn complex information into content that is relevant, supportive and easy to understand.
Working alongside our User Experience Lead, Online Service Manager and wider teams, you'll use creativity, feedback and digital insights to continually improve our content and the experience of people using our services.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines creativity and excellent writing skills with a genuine interest in how digital content can help people.

You'll bring:
- Experience creating, editing and managing content across digital platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
- An understanding of digital accessibility and effective online engagement.
- Experience of using content management systems, digital publishing tools or similar platforms, or the confidence to learn new systems.
- The ability to use feedback, analytics and engagement data to evaluate and improve content.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams.
What we offer
We want colleagues to feel supported, valued and able to balance their work with life outside work. Benefits include:
- 33 days' annual leave including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time colleagues and increasing to a maximum of 38 days with service
- A generous pension scheme, with 6% employer contribution
- Discretionary company sick pay after six months' service
- A 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme
- Premium access to the CALM app for you and up to five dependants
