A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm with a strong reputation in financial services is looking to appoint a CASS Audit Director to its Central London office. The firm works with a broad range of FCA-regulated clients, including investment managers, brokers, and fintech businesses, and is recognised for its collaborative culture, strong technical expertise, and continued growth within the FS audit space.
As a CASS Audit Director, you will take full responsibility for a portfolio of high-profile FCA-regulated clients, leading CASS assurance engagements and acting as a trusted advisor on complex regulatory matters. You will drive the strategic growth of the CASS offering, oversee audit delivery, and play a key role in business development initiatives.
This is a senior leadership position where you will work closely with partners, contribute to departmental strategy, and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. What you'll ideally need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in financial services audit within practice
- Deep technical expertise in CASS (Client Assets) rules and FCA regulations
- Proven track record managing large, complex audit portfolios
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Demonstrable business development experience and a commercial mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships
