Security Operations Engineer (Hiring Immediately)

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Security Operations Engineer to build operational security at Apollo Research from the ground up.
Security at Apollo exists to maintain the trust of our frontier AI lab partners and enable our research mission. We're looking for someone who can execute fast and make pragmatic tradeoffs. You'll thrive in this role if you're service-oriented and trusted by non-security people; have deep hands-on experience with modern security tooling like MDM, EDR, and identity management; and can own a broad set of responsibilities.
This role sits within our Operations team and reports to the COO. You'll work closely with our CISO, who handles certification, threat modelling, and stakeholder relationships with AI labs; and our engineering team, who own infrastructure-as-code and secure software architecture.
