Salary: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour
We're working on behalf of a local authority in Kensington and Chelsea who are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber Multi-Trade to join their housing estate maintenance team.
This is a static role based on a single housing estate - all properties are within walking distance, so no van or fuel card is provided. A full, clean UK manual driving licence is required, as pool vans are available on-site for use during working hours.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance in occupied and vacant properties, including installing and repairing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, taps, and pipework.
- Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks such as basic carpentry, plaster patching, and wall or floor tiling to complete repair works to a high standard.
- Responding to emergency plumbing situations such as leaks, blocked waste systems, or loss of water supply, ensuring prompt and safe resolutions.
- Operating hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other relevant equipment, safely and efficiently.
- Engaging with residents in a professional and respectful manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and clear communication about repair works.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, team members, and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records of work carried out, including materials used and any follow-up actions needed.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
