Maternity Nurse

A long-term, 24-hour Maternity Nurse role supporting the care and development of a four-month-old baby within a fully staffed private household in Belgravia, London.

This is a structured, long-term position suited to an experienced Maternity Nurse who enjoys supporting babies beyond the newborn stage. Working within a fully staffed private household, the role would suit a professional who values teamwork, discretion and providing an exceptional standard of care whilst integrating seamlessly into an established household. A returning Eden client is seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to provide dedicated support for their four-month-old baby from early September until July. The role is focused entirely on the baby, as the family's older daughter is cared for by her own dedicated nannies. The family are looking for someone with strong experience caring for babies from four months onwards, including introducing weaning, establishing age-appropriate routines and supporting the next stages of the baby's physical, emotional and developmental progress. They would appreciate a candidate who is naturally proactive, well organised and able to anticipate the baby's changing needs as they continue to grow. This is a collaborative household with a full team of staff, so previous experience working within a fully staffed private home would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate should be flexible, easy-going and confident working alongside others whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and discretion. Although the role is based in London, the family travel during the year and would like the Maternity Nurse to accompany them when required.

Candidate Specification
• Extensive experience caring for babies from four months onwards
• Excellent knowledge of infant development, weaning and age-appropriate routines
• Previous experience within a fully staffed private household is highly desirable
• Happy to travel with the family when required

• Flexible, discreet and an excellent team player
• Excellent checkable references
