Head of Partnerships

About the Role
The Head of Partnerships will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing high-value relationships with key industry stakeholders, including financial institutions. This individual will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing partnerships that align with the company’s strategic objectives, as well as growing and maintaining the company’s partner ecosystem. Additionally, the Head of Partnerships will be responsible for drafting and submitting high-quality partnership proposals, ensuring they are persuasive, tailored to client needs, and aligned with business goals.
What You’ll Do
Proposal Writing: Draft compelling, well-researched proposals for potential partners, ensuring they are aligned with business strategies and client needs.
Drive Product Adoption: Lead efforts to drive adoption of Stargate’s products with fintech platforms and top crypto protocols.
Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with crypto protocols, fintech platforms, exchanges, and DeFi projects to expand Stargate’s network and influence.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) and external partners to identify, scope, and deliver integration opportunities that enhance the value of Stargate’s products and services.
Strategic Integration Leadership: Guide integration projects from ideation to execution, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical teams and partners.
About You
You have a passion for bridging the tradFi/crypto gap
You enjoy and have led partnerships and integrations with banks/fintech applications/exchanges and/or crypto protocols
You are excited about DeFi and the wider crypto sector
You have a strong sense of professionalism and know how to represent yourself and the company
You are highly motivated by success and dedicated to driving projects to completion
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a similar role in fintech, crypto, or DeFi.
Proven track record of successfully driving partnerships, integrations, and adoption with financial institutions or crypto protocols.
Strong understanding of decentralized finance, blockchain technology, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
Ability to manage technical and non-technical stakeholders, with experience leading integration projects across teams.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
