Working across a range of programmes, you'll help ensure our analysis and commentary reaches key audiences and that our expertise contributes to the wider debate on energy and climate issues.

As part of a small communications team in a growing non-profit, this is a hands-on role that combines media relations, editorial support and content creation. You'll help to secure media coverage, provide quality control and work closely with colleagues to ensure our work has impact.

  • Assist with pitching stories, reports and expert commentary to media outlets.
  • Coordinate media requests and support colleagues and spokespeople with interviews and media appearances.
  • Maintain media databases, journalist contacts and coverage records.
  • Help to proofread and ensure consistency of tone across communications.
Digital Communications
  • Work closely with colleagues to amplify coverage across digital channels.
  • Adapt content for websites, newsletters and social media platforms.
  • Support the creation of engaging written, visual and multimedia content where required.
  • Help maintain and organise communications assets, including images, case studies and content libraries.
Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Produce regular coverage reports and support evaluation of communications activity.
Person Specification

We're seeking someone who is creative, detail oriented and highly organised, with a strong news sense and a passion for using communications to drive social impact.

You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, juggling competing priorities and responding quickly to emerging opportunities. Most importantly, you'll enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team where everyone contributes across a wide range of projects and where communications plays a vital role in advancing the organisation's mission.
