About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled & result driven Demand and Supply Planning Manager with experience in the healthcare, beauty, pharmaceutical industry who will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our end-to end demand forecasting and supply planning process. Your ability to balance demand forecasting, inventory management and supplier relationships will be crucial in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This individual will play a critical role in the alignment of demand planning with our suppliers is integral to the business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of procurement and supply chain functions, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forecasting and demand planning across all suppliers
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring they meet or exceed quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Provide data analytics on sales v inventory, weeks of coverage, stock risk and spend
- Align with demand requirements, optimising lead times, managing inventory levels, and improving delivery performance through close collaboration with suppliers
- Own S+OP at Healthxchange to ensure alignment across all functions exceeds customer expectation towards product availability
- Manage and measure the movement of goods between operational sites ensuring product is available continuously, across Healthxchange facilities to meet customer demand
- Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate supply chain solutions and partners to optimise inbound supply chain operations
- Using data, build operational insights to drive continuous improvement and optimise supply chain operations eg: OTIF (On Time In Full), accuracy and efficiencies (cost and performance)
- Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to develop accurate and actionable demand forecasts
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, quality, and inventory levels, ensuring a continuous flow of materials
- Act as a key liaison between procurement, sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure all departments are aligned with supply chain goals
- Manage the end-to-end supplier approval process, ensuring strict quality control and compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Maintain a comprehensive and competitively priced product range, regularly reviewing and updating the range in line with market trends and business requirements
- Ensure Healthxchange's Procurement objectives align with commercial & operational strategic goals
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leading Procurement and Supply Chain Operations driving continuous improvement programs
- Knowledge and operational awareness in GDP activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborative effectively across all business functions and organisational levels
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities including the ability to mentor, inspire and motivate team members
- Flexible to commute across all Healthxchange facilities
- Excellent awareness of global supply chain regulations, post Brexit, to ensure Healthxchange are constantly ahead of key changes to compliance
