IT Field Engineer / Deskside Support Engineer London, Home Counties & Surrounding Areas (Field Based) £40,000 - £48,000 + All Travel Expenses Paid (Including Office Commute) + Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Assurance + 23 Days Holiday (Rising to 35 Days with Service) Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for a varied, customer-facing field role where you can work with a wide range of technologies, support growing businesses, and join a well-established MSP that invests in both its people and long-term development? The business continues to expand and is looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and taking ownership of technical challenges. In this role, you will provide both onsite and remote support across multiple client environments, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365-related issues. You will also assist with device deployments, endpoint management, user administration, documentation, and proactive maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a deskside, field, or onsite support position, ideally within an MSP environment. You will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and strong technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, and networking. The Role: Provide onsite and remote IT support to a range of clients across London and the Home Counties Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues Manage Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint devices Perform hardware repairs, deployments, upgrades, and audits Maintain documentation, tickets, and IT asset records Support proactive monitoring, backup testing, and service improvements The Person: 3-5 years' experience in a customer-facing IT support role Experience within an MSP environment desirable Strong Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, and Windows support skills Knowledge of networking, mobile device management, and endpoint security Full UK driving licence Excellent communication and documentation skills Reference Number: BBBH281306 Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
