Facilities Supervisor

Bruin Financial
City of London, Greater London

43809

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking financial services organisation, is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of their offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities professional to take a step up and take ownership of operations, support the wider Facilities function, and ensure safe, well-presented, and efficient workplaces for staff and visitors.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Facilities, the Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a small team and supporting the smooth delivery of facilities operations across an office portfolio. This includes day-to-day maintenance, health & safety compliance, coordinating contractors, and assisting with projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day facilities operations across office portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for issues and escalation.
  • Carry out regular site inspections
  • Support in managing security systems, office services, and workplace standards.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Coordinate office moves, refurbishments, and facilities projects in collaboration with senior colleagues.
  • Oversee contractors and service providers
  • Monitor facilities budgets, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and ensuring value for money.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders, supporting a positive facilities experience.

About You

  • Experience in a Facilities role, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and managing service delivery.
  • Knowledge of health & safety processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional membership of IWFM, IOSH Managing Safely, or knowledge of M&E systems/DSE assessments would be advantageous.

Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons – men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry. Our clients work with us because they value a diverse workforce, and subscribe to our shared principle that all appointments are made on merit and that ability to perform the job will be the primary consideration.
