Hours: Monday (4 hours) Wednesday (3 hours) Friday (3 hours)

Prefer hours to be done after 12pm but flexible for the right candidate.

Overview:

A lovely family based in E1, London, is seeking a caring and proactive Mother’s Help to provide a blend of childcare and household support. Mum is recovering from an accident and requires someone reliable and capable who can step in and offer practical assistance three afternoons per week.

The role involves caring for a three-month-old baby, as well as cleaning and meal preparation for Mum and Dad. The family and their house cat live in a small one-bedroom flat, so this is a hands-on role ideal for someone organised, calm, and ready to help wherever needed.

Duties will include:

• Supporting Mum with day-to-day baby care while she is having therapy sessions and if she needs to leave the home (feeding, changing, settling, etc.)

• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the couple

• Household cleaning (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living area)

• Laundry tasks for the family

• Occasional ironing if required.

• Keeping the home tidy and running smoothly

• Providing an extra pair of hands and reassurance during Mum’s recovery

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience caring for young babies (around 3 months old)

• Hold a current Enhanced DBS check

• Be confident in both childcare and general household duties

• Be kind, trustworthy, and able to work independently

• Have previous experience in a similar Mother’s Help or nanny/housekeeper role

Hours:

• Monday: 4 hours (afternoon)

• Wednesday: 3 hours (afternoon)

• Friday: 3 hours (afternoon)

Total: 10 hours per week

Contract: Temporary (3 months initially, with the potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP (3 months)
