An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to step into the role ofHead of Housing Delivery and Partnerships.

Role Overview – Head of Housing Delivery and Partnerships:

• Provide strategic direction across housing delivery, regeneration, and partnership programmes, ensuring alignment with their Affordable Housing Strategy and Local Plan.
• Lead cross-functional teams and oversee significant capital programmes, ensuring timely delivery and sound financial management.
• Develop and sustain effective partnerships with key stakeholders including developers, elected representatives, and community organisations.
• Manage procurement processes and ensure adherence to public sector standards, delivering efficient and value-driven services.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across housing and regeneration services.
• Represent the companies at planning committees, public consultations, and site visits, including outside standard working hours.

Candidate Profile:

• Extensive leadership experience in housing, property development, or urban regeneration, gained within local government or the private sector.
• Proven success in delivering complex housing and regeneration projects through collaborative partnerships.
• Strong grasp of housing legislation, policy frameworks, and market conditions.
• Skilled in financial appraisal, project management tools, and performance monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage competing priorities, and achieve strategic goals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with political sensitivity and influence.

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree and/or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Project Management certification is advantageous.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is essential.
