The role

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for driving growth and innovation in a dynamic environment?

Insight is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Public Sector team and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients for Central Government . In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with managing a portfolio of key accounts, consistently surpassing sales targets, and fostering enduring client relationships. You will also play a role in spearheading multi-level selling strategies across both Technology and Solutions, ensuring our clients receive unparalleled value and expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client needs to create strategic account plans

  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system

  • Utilize internal systems to track progress against targets and manage account plans effectively

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build professional relationships

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to share insights and drive business goals

  • Engage in continuous learning through training programs offered by Insight

Essential Experience/Skills:

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets both in Technology and Solutions in Public Sector

  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to completion for a book of existing accounts in the Public Sector

  • Able to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the customer requirements

  • Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment

  • A team player with a flexible approach and “Can do” attitude

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
