Underwriting Analyst International Property (80 - 100%)
About the role
This is an opportunity to join our operational team to support international insurance programmes for our property line of business.
This role, based in the UK, has a key focus on service delivery, ensuring our clients have the appropriate level of support, acting as the point of contact for programme implementation across the network of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions by working closely with many internal departments and external partners.
In the role of Underwriting Analyst, your main responsibilities will include the following:
• Drive international program implementation activities and ensure quality, consistency, and first-class service delivery on all matters concerning the end to end process.
• Coordinate Pre-Quote/Pre Bind Processes, Service Exceptions, Issuance of endorsements between Producing Offices and our Local Offices and Network Partners.
• Prepare timely processing instructions to the International Program Service Unit, Credit Control, Reinsurance and local offices.
• Supervise and report on operational program performance and address issues to ensure agreed service levels are maintained, taking vital actions where required by early identification of bottlenecks.
• Enter and maintain up to date and accurate information in our tools and systems.
• Develop a deep knowledge of processes, system touch-points, areas for potential defects, areas for future improvements and become a subject-matter-expert.

• Property Insurance knowledge and experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Profound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Quality focused, attentive to detail and solution oriented, with the ability to identify and report problems.
The base salary range for this position is between GBP 48,000 and GBP 72,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
·the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
·the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
