Tax Associate (2–4 PQE) | London | International Law Firm

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a mid-level Tax Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded London tax team .

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad mix of international and domestic transactional and advisory matters , supporting complex work across corporate, finance, and real estate transactions. The team regularly collaborates with colleagues across global offices, including a strong pipeline of work from the US.

The Opportunity

You will join a small, collaborative tax team within a major London office and work closely with senior lawyers on high-profile matters. From day one, you will have meaningful responsibility , exposure to complex deals, and the opportunity to develop your profile within a supportive and internationally connected practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on domestic and cross-border tax aspects of corporate transactions
• Supporting finance and real estate related tax matters
• Working closely with lawyers across multiple practice groups and international offices
• Contributing to client relationship development and business development initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• 2–4 years’ PQE as a tax lawyer in private practice
• Experience advising on corporate tax matters (finance and/or real estate exposure beneficial)
• Exposure to international tax issues is advantageous
• Strong technical, drafting, and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and with clients
• Interest in business development and networking
