Global Category Manager
Great things are happening in the Europe and Australia (EUAU) region. Each day, our 2,500 plus colleagues bring their passion to our offices, manufacturing sites, R&D center, and commercial/distributor markets across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. We are energized by over 150 years of bringing people together with the food they love. With beloved brands Old El Paso, Häagen-Dazs, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Fibre One, Latina Fresh and more, we are on a mission to become the undisputed growth leader in food for EUAU. In a world that’s ever-changing, we look to stay ahead and seek people who share our love of food and are hungry to shape the future.
As our Global Category Manager , you’ll play a key role in shaping and implementing our Category Vision worldwide. Working cross-functionally across international markets, you’ll deliver category-led growth initiatives that bring our strategy to life, unlock new opportunities, and create impact at scale.
What your role is
As part of the global team, you’ll be instrumental in driving our Category Strategy and Vision , ensuring it translates into growth opportunities across markets. You’ll design a best-in-class global POP Vision —grounded in insights, research, and proven best practices—that sets the standard for how our brands show up in-store and online.
You’ll act as the voice of the shopper and customer within the Brand Development Team, ensuring their needs are at the heart of decision-making. A key part of your role will be to create compelling Category Selling Story blueprints that bring our innovation, renovation, and PPA initiatives to life across international markets.
In addition, you’ll craft category materials that open up new channel opportunities and white space growth areas, enabling markets to move faster and smarter. Looking ahead, you’ll also play a role in building our long-term innovation pipeline , ensuring it’s rooted in shopper insight and customer relevance.
This is your chance to shape global category strategies, influence across markets, and work with a diverse international team.
What you will bring to the team
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in category management of at least 3 years, ideally within FMCG. You’ll have a track record of working across functions, building alignment, and influencing stakeholders at different levels and in different markets.
Strategic thinking and commercial acumen are essential , as is the ability to spot opportunities and translate them into clear actions that drive growth. You’ll also thrive in a fast-paced, global environment by bringing a growth mindset—curious, adaptable, and ready to embrace new challenges while helping others do the same.
