Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist - Scotland

Salary: £27- £32 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time (flexible working considered)
Job Overview
We are currently seeking two Band 6 Locum Paediatric Audiologists to join a dedicated audiology service in South Western Scotland. These roles focus on Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) assessments and paediatric hearing aid fittings and management.
This is an excellent opportunity for audiologists with paediatric experience to work within a supportive team, delivering high-quality care to children and young people. The caseload will primarily involve primary school-aged children and older, with a focus on diagnostic and rehabilitative services.
Key Responsibilities
In these roles, you will:
• Conduct VRA assessments for paediatric patients.
• Fit and manage paediatric hearing aids.
• Collaborate with ENT consultants, paediatricians, and other MDT members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for these roles, you must have:
• A BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with RCCP or HCPC.
• Experience in paediatric audiology, including VRA and hearing aid work.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
