PE Teacher – Drive Girls' Sports Participation and Lead Health and Fitness Curricula Across All Key Stages – Waltham Forest

A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Waltham Forest is recruiting an enthusiastic PE Teacher (Girls' Specialist) to strengthen participation and lead the academic Health and Fitness curriculum from January 2026.

• Seeking a specialist to teach across the core KS3/4 curriculum and contribute to academic PE (GCSE/A-Level).

You will teach PE across all key stages, with a focus on raising the quality of instruction and outcomes in core sports, increasing girls' engagement, and delivering the theoretical aspects of Health and Exercise Science.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant PE or Sports Science degree.
• Proven success in coaching netball, hockey, or gymnastics is preferred.
• Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative faculty goal of raising sports participation.
