Role Information
The school is seeking to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a successful Humanities Department. You will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available.
The role involves delivering engaging lessons that explore physical and human geography, sustainability, and global issues. You will support students in developing analytical skills, fieldwork knowledge, and exam technique.
You will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design, and enrichment opportunities such as field trips and geography clubs.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or related subject
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the discipline
• Familiarity with GCSE specifications
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to inclusive education
