We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a purpose-built Secondary Special School that provides specialist facilities and tailored support for students with a range of complex needs.

Needs: Severe and complex learning needs

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support young people with severe and complex learning needs
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Assist students with learning, communication, mobility, and independence
• Support pupils in accessing specialist facilities and tailored learning activities
• Provide personal care where required
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with complex needs is essential
• Comfortable supporting with personal care
• Experience in a special school, care, or SEND setting is highly desirable
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
