SearchPlus HR is actively seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a leading University Healthcare Facility. This prestigious role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge medical environment, providing expert care to pediatric patients in emergency settings. The Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality emergency care, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to uphold the highest standards of pediatric emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert emergency medical care to pediatric patients with a wide range of acute conditions and injuries.
- Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children in emergency scenarios.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions for complex cases.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors, trainees, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement protocols and guidelines to improve pediatric emergency care delivery.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with latest advances in pediatric emergency medicine
Requirements
- Experience in a pediatric emergency department, preferably in a university or academic healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric emergency care
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) desirable
