 Pay Rate: £16.00 P/H 
We are currently looking for a dedicated Band 3 Locum Imaging Assistant to join our team in London. This is a 3-month contract with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week across various shifts, including 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 1pm-8pm, and 8pm-8am. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting imaging services in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities :
As a Band 3 Locum Imaging Assistant, you will support the radiology team in preparing patients for imaging procedures, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the department. Your duties will include assisting with patient positioning, handling patient records, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness of the imaging rooms. You will provide essential support to radiographers and ensure patients have a comfortable and safe experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Imaging Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Basic knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and nights.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standards and confidentiality.
