Senior Broker Support Technician

OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Support Technician to join our exciting team. This role is pivotal in providing advanced operational and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver exceptional service.
How you'll make an impact- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulations while prioritizing client needs.
- Maintain technical insurance knowledge and understanding of industry regulations.
- Attend business unit meetings and provide input as needed.
- Perform non-complex processing tasks within Global XB and support pre-processing and accounting queries.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Teams and develop positive working relationships with the IBA Team.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support technical audits when required.
- Manage financial disciplines, premium payment warranties, and mitigate potential Errors and Omissions exposure.
- Ensure timely resolution of workflows, queries, and escalations within SLA and TAT guidelines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in systems such as GXB, AJG workflow, IMR, and Crystal.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks and escalate technical processing issues to the line manager.
- Strong knowledge of the UK insurance market, including regulatory requirements and industry practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with insurance software systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
