M&E Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical & Electrical – High-Rise Residential – London
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Travel Allowance + Healthcare + Bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractor who deliver major high-rise residential developments across London. They are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of complex mechanical and electrical packages on landmark projects valued £20m – £30m .

The Role:
As a Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor , you’ll take full responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of large-scale M&E packages. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure financial control, cost efficiency, and successful delivery of high-rise residential schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages from pre-construction through to final account

• Procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist M&E services

• Valuations, cost forecasting, change management, and reporting to senior management

• Budget control, cashflow management, and risk mitigation

• Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery

• Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors within the commercial team

About You:

• Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor on high-value projects (£20m+)

• Strong background in mechanical and electrical services within high-rise residential or large mixed-use developments

• Excellent knowledge of M&E systems, contracts, procurement, and commercial procedures

• Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
